With the rapid development of urbanization in our country,the rural population in our country is constantly losing,forming a hollow status quo,which also leads to the decline of rural primary school students year by year.Despite the suspension of the policy of "withdrawing and merging schools" in 2012,the data shows that rural primary schools in China are still disappearing at the rate of sixteen every day,parallel with the decay of rural community culture.The shortcomings of rapid standardized primary school construction caused by rapid urbanization begins to emerge.The Research shows that there are still some problems in contemporary rural primary schools,such as defective function,single plane organization,low environmental quality and closed campus space.At the same time,the voice and practice of the reform of modern basic education and the construction of lifelong learning society are constantly advancing throughout the country,which brings new requirements and challenges to the construction of rural primary schools.Meanwhile,as an important public facility in rural areas of China,how to deal with the relationship with the community has been an important issue.To slove the problems above,this paper creatively introduces symbiosis theory into the study of rural campus space design.This paper demonstrates the necessity and suitability of rural primary school and community symbiosis by analyzing the internal and external driving forces of simbiotic relatiosnhip between rural primary school and community.Then,from three elements of symbiosis proposed by the sociological symbiosis theory,the spatial elements of rural primary school campus’ s symbiotic relationship with the community are analyzed,and three points are put forward: the complementarity of school-village energy units based on Symbiosis unit,the transformation of school-village function space based on Symbiosis mode,and the continuous coordination of natural and human environment based on symbiosis environment.Finally,aiming at the current situation and the space elements based on Symbiosis theory,this paper puts forward the design principles of rural primary school campus space who sows symbiotic relationship with the community.In addition,Based on the design principles above,combined with investigation and case study,starting from the symbiosis between rural communities and primary schools,this paper reorganizes and proposes the campus space design method of rural primary schools from functional symbiosis and cultural symbiosis.Proceeding from the symbiotic relationship between school and community,this paper puts forward the strategies and methods of campus space design in rural primary schools,hoping to form a vigorous and stable relationship between rural communities and play a positive role in promoting it.It also hopes to provide some design ideas for the campus space design of contemporary rural primary schools in China.
