In the new era of industrial informatization,waterway surveying and mapping is a basic public welfare undertaking that benefits the nation and people for the development of our country's economy and society,and is also an important part of the construction of Yangtze Economic Zone.With the rapid development of economic globalization and information technology,the information management mode based on the Management Information System has been popularized and developed in various engineering fields in our country.How to effectively use information technology to manage a large number of waterway surveying and mapping data has become an important subject that waterway department managers must face.This thesis deeply analyzes the application of the management information system in the waterway information at home and abroad,combined with the daily management of the Zhenjiang Waterway Bureau of the Changjiang Nanjing Waterway Bureau in waterway surveying and mapping aspects,and points out the limitations of the existing artificial management mode,and puts forword the design and the development of the Integrated Information Service Platform for Waterway Surveying and Mapping,so as to improve the information management level of the whole wateyway surveying and mapping department.The research and development of this subject adopt the method of object-oriented analysis and design.First of all,a demand model based on UML is established by acquiring the user's requirement through project requirement survey and analyzing the requirement.Next,the architecture and function design of the system is carried out according to the physical model of the target system,so as to enable the system to accomplish the work objectives set out in the requirement analysis phase.Then,this thesis makes use of C# technology and Microsoft Sql Sever database to develop and implement the system,which aims to establish a waterway surveying and mapping management information system based on three-tier structure.Among them,this thesis proposes to use component development technology to realize the display of waterway electronic mapping drawing,and implenment the function of data analysis through GDI+ technology.Finally,this thesis tests the system,and the running results show that the system has realized the management function of the waterway surving and mapping,and summarizes and prospects the system development work,and points out the problems that need to be further solved in the construction process of the Integrated Information Service Platform for Waterway Surveying and Mapping.
