Since the society for the study of Chinese ancient architecture was founded in 1930's,artificial line graph,which is the core of the ancient building surveying and mapping expression results,satisfies the information collection,analysis,processing,and the basic requirement of drawing archive.It also plays an irreplaceable role in the construction process of ancient architecture protection design and repair.However,with the development of a variety of digital mapping technology as well as the ancient building survey,surveying and mapping and presentation requirements changing,only artificial line graph has not completely met demands,such as the precision of ancient records,data reproduced,the present situation analysis,multiple features work.It makes artificial line graph gradually become new technique industry development bottleneck and mix field of surveying and mapping surveying and mapping results within a single industry and technical development imbalance.At the same time,with the rapid development of science and technology,a variety of types of surveying and mapping results which is derived by informatization of surveying and mapping technology have been accepted by more and more people.It becomes an important supplement of the artificial line graph.However,because of the new types of surveying and mapping results lack of a unified graphic methods and applications,new type of surveying and mapping results greatly reduces in the architectural heritage of the function of protection.This paper firstly analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of traditional surveying and mapping results in application.Based on the low photogrammetric and the existing ground surveying and mapping technology,the paper puts forward historic building surveying and mapping under the mode of Air-Ground-Person coordination probe methods.During more than two years of post-graduate study,the author followed mentor participated in the aerial surveying and mapping project with several different types of ancient buildings.The author has accumulated the rich practical experience during the past three years.On this basis,in view of the current new surveying and mapping results of lack of unified graphic codes and status quo of using the method,the author from the general principle of modern engineering drawing,summarizes the new results of surveying and mapping mapping principlesand standards in the industry.It makes new type of surveying and mapping results as a strong complement of artificial line graph and rich the type of surveying and mapping results in architectural heritage.The essence of this paper is a research to a variety of new types of surveying and mapping results figure of graphic method.The paper also inductives and summarizes up the new method of surveying and mapping results and graphic related standard.What's more,the paper expands the new type of surveying and mapping results in practical application in the field of architectural heritage surveying and mapping.
