Information Management Plan And Realization Of Port & Waterway Engineering Supervision

With the development of technology, the information management of our Engineering Supervision Project is changing to Computer Aided Management. At the same time, there are also a batch of information management systems emerging in large numbers in the construction supervision fields, and these systems are designed for the information management of our Engineering Supervision Project. However, owing to the lack of a unified plan for the information management of our Engineering Supervision Project, there always appears the foul-up of system function and the independence and no share of system resources during the run process, and even the lack may lead to the disorder of project information management, thus affect the object decision and management of Engineering Supervision Project, resulting in the waste of manpower and financial resources.The Port & Waterway Engineering Supervision is one of the important moves for the basic means of transportation to catch up with the world standard, but there still hasn't been a mature information management software in this trade. Saying that, starting with the information management needs of supervisor side, the article sets up an information management plan for the construction engineering supervision project regarding the information management at the stage of Port & Waterway Engineering Supervision (PWES) as research objects. We make this plan to raising an information management plan that can meet the actual needs of project information management through analyzing the content and the technology of the information management of engineering supervision project, and develop an engineering supervision Management Information System (MIS) that is fit for our modern information technology on the basis of this.There are four achievements for this paper: First, building an Information Management Plan of PWES; Second, raising a information management organization system being flat and dummy; Third, building a information classification and coding system of engineering supervision project according to the characters of PWES; Forth, developing a Management Information System of PWES, and testing the implementary programme of the plan through concrete examples.
