Research On The Residential Planning Strategies For Military Cadres Based On The Needs Of The Aged

Population ageing has become a major feature and social problem affecting human development in the 21 st century.Globally,except The Africa and the Eastern Mediterranean,most countries have entered the stage of population ageing.It is predicted that by 2040,the number of the elderly population in China will reach 370 million,accounting for nearly 31% of the total population.The rapid increase in the number of aging groups has brought huge development space for different types of old-age housing projects,such as old-age housing and old-age community.Within the army,with the increase of the number of retired cadres,some old-age residential areas in the army cannot meet the high standard of pension needs in terms of quantity,quality and overall planning.How to better guarantee the retirement life of retired cadres,the construction of retired cadres' residential areas with the core of "old-age,suitable for the elderly" has become the most critical factor.The research of this topic is based on the definition and concept of the old-age community,focusing on the elements of the old-age community planning.By defining the scope of research,the paper finds out the problems existing in the planning and layout of the traditional retired cadres' residential areas in the army,and combs out the advantages and characteristics of the overall planning,internal space planning(traffic space,public activity space,greening space)of the old-age community through horizontal comparison,drawing on the successful experience of the domestic and foreign classical old-age community.Finally,taking a retired military cadre residential area in Shenyang as an example,and combining with the needs of the veteran military cadres,a specific planning and design study is carried out to form a set of overall implementation plan which is in line with the actual situation of the project and the population.The research can provide some theoretical guidance for the overall planning and design of the elderly community,such as the army resettlement housing,and has a certain practical significance.
