Concerning social science, economics and psychology, the thesis analyses the supporting pattern and residential type for the aged , and some real condition in our country considered, puts forward an ideal supporting pattern for the aged, which is , home take care of the elderly is the main pattern , social take care of the elderly is the trend in the future, and community take care of the elderly is the realest method . Therefore, the residential construction for the aged is very important .The thesis puts emphasis on the research of the two sections-the dwelling architectures and the dwelling environment, and explains how to adapt the needs on the residential construction for the aged. The thesis also puts forward kinds of assumes in some aspect of the house, fadity, service system and the construction, and brings out some new ideas on the construction of the residence for the aged.
