Jinzhou Baihua Marina Square Landscape Design Research

As an important part of the design of urban open space on seashore,seashore square branches off from the modern city square system.It can promote the economic development of coastal cities,change the industrial structure of cities,and improve the image thereof.Through investigation of the current design situation of relative seashore squares in Jinzhou city,this paper analyzed landscape design of relative seashore squares in Jinzhou city from the features of coastal landscape,appropriately summarizing the issues and proposing feasible design schemes.From the development of locality and wholeness of the seashore square,this paper explored the geographical features of seashore squares in Jinzhou city,and,in combination of local culture,highlighted the design concept of ocean culture;summarized the design principle of seashore squares in Jinzhou city,and thereby guided the design practice;based on landscape design project of Jinzhou Expo Park Floral Square,from perspectives such as wholeness,locality,ecology and culture,and combined with the geographical features of seashore space in Jinzhou city,conducted landscape design practice of the seashore square,and made empirical study on the design of seashore square landscape system.Through the investigation,it found that the current design has issues such as sameness,lack of humanistic considerations,insufficient understanding of the geographical features of seashore,poor manifestation of the continuity and openness of landscape space,etc.In an issue-oriented manner,this paper studied corresponding basic theories,literatures and design information at home and abroad,systematically analyzed the basic components and types of seashore square landscape design,and proposed accordingly the design strategies from macro regional representation,meso overall landscape layout and micro design considerations.This paper studied the urban seashore square landscape system,and made conclusions according to the theoretical analysis and design practice of seashore square landscape system in Jinzhou city.By so doing,it gives theoretical guidance for the future design practice,provides reference and example for similar landscape system design,and provides the important theoretical basis and practical experience for the urban seashore areas' overall construction,regional culture presentation and tourism development.
