| Design for Affordability unlike design for compliance which was paid attention to formerly,it emphasizes more on the design of the security,from the perspective of the aircraft commercial attribute and meeting customer requirements,proceeding commercial aircraft stakeholders’ needs as a whole to design the aircraft.Systems Engineering Management method,is a method of managing system to the large commercial aircraft project which is more integrated,wide specialty range,strong interdisciplinary degree,long research and development cycle,high cost,high risk,strict government supervision and great social concern,to ensure the efficient development of economic,comfortable,environmentally friendly and safe civil aircraft under limited resources.At present,the main international mainstream civil aircraft manufacturers are actively researching and applying,and the system engineering in China is still in the beginning stage in the field of civil aviation manufacturing.This paper is from the perspective of design for affordability.The civil aircraft development project which using Systems Engineering Management method,is to ensure the aircraft has the market competitiveness,and achieve the commercial success.The two main methods of systems engineering described in this paper are requirements management and full lifecycle management,managing from the horizontal and spatial vertical of time,starting from the overall concept,reasonable arrangements for each part of the whole,so that each part to meet with the original customer goal,in the process of promoting the project the key point of effective decision-making,risk monitoring,to ensure that the project is done in the first time.This paper focuses on using QFD(Quality Function Deployment),qualitative identification of the index model of design for affordability.To decompose from aircraft level,system level,equipment level demand;using double V model of systems engineering method,to validate and verify the design requirements for Affordability.This paper also considers the full life cycle control of design for affordability through decision door management and risk management.This paper also validates the requirement decomposition and the whole life cycle process through the process of design optimization of a certain type of aircraft. |
