Along with the development of China's auto industry,the domestic demand for vehicle and its components has increased continuously.As a core component of intelligent vehicle driving,EPS controller is gradually developed by domestic automotive electronics enterprises.In order to complete with international parts enterprises,domestic enterprises must intensify the management and promote the lean production,reduce waste,improve product performance and quality,reduce manufacturing cost.The balance rate of production line is widely used as an important index to evaluate the production efficiency of enterprises.This paper describes the production line balance theory and evaluation index,According to the process characteristics and value stream map of vehicle steering controller,combined with the production rhythm balance diagram of each component,here use 5WHY,improved analysis table and other methods and tools to further analyze the root cause of waste.This paper also analyzes the general SMT(surface mounting),selective wave soldering,three defense paint spraying and other technological processes and bottlenecks of the automotive electronics industry in details.The technological process and technical points of micro argon arc welding which have just begun to be used by domestic enterprises have also been studied.In the process of analysis,the value flow chart is the guide,ECRS and ergonomics are used to improve the improvement points of process flow,position layout,personnel action and equipment installation.The use of MTM tools to calculate standard hours has contributed to the establishment of enterprise standard hours,which can effectively avoid the individual differences in the time measured by the measured objects.When analyzing and improving equipment bottlenecks,we use DOE experiment method to do positive correlation screening for parameters and factors that affect the processing cycle time.It provides effective theories and tools for optimizing process parameters,and reduces the time for engineering technicians to explore in the initial stage of the project.Through the above analysis and improvement,the automobile electric steering controller production line tends to be balanced,and the logistics route is shortened,the WIP inventory is reduced.In general,the production efficiency and the quality of the product are improved.
