| With the rapid development of the global economy,the competition among manufacturing enterprises is becoming more and more fiercely.Many enterprises begin to worry about the economic status and pay attention to the improvement and management of the production process existing in the production system.As a tool that can identify the problems of information flow and material flow in the process of production and operation from overall perspective,value steam mapping has been used by more and more enterprises to improve production line with the professional knowledge of industrial engineering and lean production.Taking the BPI production line of A company as the research object.Firstly,collecting the data about information flow and material flow in the value stream mapping and drawing current value stream mapping of BPI production line.Secondly,calculating Takt time in order to identify process that restricting Takt time.And then it is identified that the overall equipment efficiency of loading is low and there is waste while handling materials from one place to another place,at the same time,raw materials and finished product storage level is too high.Thirdly,applying to lean production tools and the methods of industrial engineering to improve production line,reduce bottleneck procedure time,improve overall equipment efficiency of loading,update the handling tools,bring in the pull system and kanban management and transform push production to pull production.In this way,drawing out the future value stream mapping successfully and compare the situation before and after management.Lastly,promoting 5S management strictly,setting up the lean production promoting team and employee training system,establishing incentive mechanism to ensure the well execution of future value stream mapping in company.Finally,non-value-added time has been reduced,the percentage of value-added has been risen from 0.24% to 0.35%,line balance efficiency has been risen from 55%to 86%,overall,production line has been improved effectively. |
