| In order to improve their competitiveness,enterprises have to meet the needs of customers and provide them with best products,which require the reduction in the cost of production.Lean production is an advanced method for the enterprises.Lean production can be accomplished by the sustained appreciation of the value stream in manufacturing system.Value stream is the process that turns material into finished product and adds value to the product.Value stream mapping is a visual instrument in lean production.It can portray logistics and information flow,detect and reduce the waste in production.Based on A coil unit of D company,the thesis analyses customer requirement and logistics and information flow by value stream analysis method for a current value stream mapping,as to detect current waste to make a more efficient value stream mapping for future production.After analyzing the producing procedure by multiple instruments of lean production including value stream analysis method,the thesis offers a few improving scheme on the production line of A coil unit,including adopting advanced equipment and eliminating unnecessary removal,to make production line more effective.By using the improving scheme,the product operation time for welding,which is known as the bottleneck of production line,can decrease from 99 s to 20 s.The manufacturing cycle including connectors assemble,bolt assemble and product inspection is 20 s by turning three stations to a workstation.By estimate,line balancing rate increased from 86% to 93%.The transportation distances reduced by 34% and the delivery cycle reduced by 19%,and enhanced the processing efficiency by 63%.To guarantee the results,TWI,standardized operation,TPM and 5S activities should also be promoted to provide technique and knowledge support for similar circumstance.The analysis and result in the thesis makes a reference to lean production in company production line of the same kind. |
