Study On Port Complex Design Under Urban Renewal Conditions

With the acceleration of China's urbanization process,the fragmentation of urban functions caused by the principle of urban planning based on “functional division” has become increasingly serious.At the same time,the population density of large cities continues to grow,and the tension of land resources has also accelerated the pace of urban renewal.The urban complex has become a hot spot for construction and transformation due to its strong inclusiveness of functions and high intensification of land resources.Looking at the complex that have sprung up like mushrooms,due to the different geographical conditions and functional requirements,the internal functional proportions and functional mixes of urban building complex are very different,such as residential complexes,commercial complexes,Traffic complexes and other types of title.Starting from the structural characteristics of urban building complex,this paper discusses its role in urban spaces.Based on the particularity of LianTang Port,the author analyzed the relationship between urban renewal and urban building complex and the relationship between port hub and urban building complex.And this paper is highly focused on the spatial organization in the urban building complex,analyze the advantages and disadvantages of various design techniques in combination with actual cases,summarize the design principles,and try to guide the design practice of the renewal project of the Xiling Garden Community.
