Post-Occupancy Evaluation Of External Public Space In Shenzhen High-Density Science And Technology Park

Shenzhen is the frontier of reform and opening up in our country.With the rapid development of urban economic construction,the shortage of urban land resources is increasing,and the trend of urban high-density development is remarkable.Under this background,Shenzhen Science and Technology Industrial Park is gradually developing into a high-density park with function compound and comprehensive service.Under the background of high density development,the land resources of Shenzhen Science and Technology Industrial Park are saved and the production efficiency is greatly improved.At the same time,Shenzhen high-density science and technology industrial park planning and construction experience will provide certain reference significance for other cities science and technology industrial park planning and construction.Although the high-density science and technology industrial park has its own advantages of intensive development,its high-density development also brings about the shortage of public space and rest facilities,and the quality of some external public spaces is not guaranteed.This will lead to a decline in the comfort of the use of technology practitioners,affecting the creative performance of science and technology personnel.Therefore,the research on the external public space of high-density science and technology industrial park becomes very important.In this context,with the help of the Post-Occupancy Evaluation method,the author carries out the Post-Occupancy Evaluation research on the representative external public space of the high-density science and technology industrial park in Shenzhen,which is the frontier of urban development,from the point of view of the scientific and technological practitioners.According to the evaluation results,this paper analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of the external public space of each high-density scientific and technological industrial park.According to the spatial layout characteristics of the park and the demand of the people engaged in science and technology in the park,the suggestions of improving the external public space of the high-density science and technology industrial park are put forward in order to improve the satisfaction of the use of the external public space.In the process of Post-Occupancy Evaluation,the high-density science and technology industrial park with three different types of park layout in Shenzhen is taken as the evaluation object.The evaluation objects were Kexing Science Park,Shenzhen Software Industry Base and Shenzhen Bay Eco-Technology Park.Then,in order to construct the evaluation model,the author summarizes the evaluation factors that influence the use of external public space in high-density science and technology industrial park according to the research data and the exploratory research of the park.Furthermore,through the field observation,the structured questionnaire survey,the free evaluation of the evaluation subject,and the analysis of the distribution heat diagram of the park population,the author evaluates the Post-Occupancy Evaluation satisfaction degree of the three park cases.Finally,the result analysis is carried out,and the comprehensive evaluation result of the case is obtained through the data analysis,and the conclusion is synthesized with the subjective evaluation result.Through the comparative analysis of the evaluation results of the park,it is concluded that "use comfort" and "space environment" are the main factors that affect the satisfaction degree of the external public space use of the high density science and technology industrial park.At the same time,the author puts forward some suggestions for the improvement of science and technology industrial park.According to the above-mentioned research results of Post-Occupancy Evaluation,the paper finally puts forward some optimized design schemes which can be used for reference from the park planning and architectural design,external public space users' needs,Operation and maintenance of the park and other aspects of the external public space of Shenzhen high-density science and technology industrial park.The author hopes that these research results can enlighten the construction of external public space of high-density science and technology industrial park in Shenzhen and other cities.
