Risk Management Of ERP Project Implementation

ERP is an effective tool to build enterprise information management platform,renew the operation and management concept and improve the core competitiveness of enterprises.SAP is the global ERP technology leader and the market leader of ERP systems.Many domestic and foreign enterprises choose SAP because of its broad applicability and good stability.However,an ERP system implementation project always faces considerable risks since it has large investment,long cycle,high degree of integration,multiple stakeholders and requires a strong project management team.According to the experience during the ERP SAP system implementation project for group X that to replace the original Tiptop system,this thesis takes the ERP-SAP system implementation project of group X as an example,to investigate the risk management of ERP system implementation project for enterprises,which combined the project risk management theory and method with the ERP-SAP implementation project of group X together.First,in accordance with the five steps of ASAP implementation road map,by using of brainstorming,to identify the risk factors of ERP-SAP implementation project of group X;secondly,by using of the AHP theory and so on,to evaluate the identified risk factors;Finally,monitor and respond to those risk factors accordingly;Thus,put forward a set of risk management methods throughout the project cycle,which provides a set of appropriate risk management solutions for the enterprise ERP system implementation projects.This solution has been validated through the completion of the ERP-SAP system implementation project for group X,at the same time,it can also be used for reference for other companies.
