Electric forklifts are an important part of the current forklift market with its environmental protection and energy saving features.Its market share has increased year by year.However,electric forklifts also have some problems in actual work.For example: safety hazards caused by illegal operations,low efficiency,and high maintenance costs.The traditional method of human eye observation is difficult to accurately sense violations such as overweight and overspeed,and it is not possible to manage the fleet efficiently.Based on the safety hazard of electric forklift operation,this paper combines sensor technology,communication technology,cloud server and online monitoring technology to design and implement an electric forklift monitoring system based on LoRa and Internet of Things.Firstly,according to the three-layer architecture of the Internet of Things,the overall topology of the combination of the lower computer system,the server a nd the upper computer monitoring client is proposed.Then,the selection of senso rs and other modules is completed,and the CAN bus and LoRa spread spectrum technology are selected as the main communication methods for obtaining the operating state of the electric forklift.Alibaba Cloud Server adopts LAMP organization structure.The PC monitoring client designed by C# can show the status of the fleet to the user and realize the supervision of vehicles and personnel.Finally,the electric forklift monitoring system was tested and analyzed: the lower computer system can complete the coll ection of controller data.Aiming at the problem that the electric forklift weighing data is unstable,the improved algorithm combining the average value and the Kalman filter can make the error be about ±0.5%.The LoRa network can achieve reliable communication with zero packet loss rate within a 2km range of a single gateway in a storage environment.The host computer client can manage the fleet.On the whole,the electric forklift monitoring system based on LoRa and Internet of Things designed by this subject basically meets the demand.
