In recent years,with the development and integration of the Internet of things and ship communications technology,the emergence of a ship communication network based on the Internet of things is an important part of the ship's modernization and intellectual development.The first thing that intelligent ships should solve is the communication problem of ship cabin,so the stability of wireless communication system in ship steel environment becomes the focus of the research.The cabin environment is distinct from the electrical wave propagation characteristics of the open environment.The cabin is a restricted space,so there are various kinds of reflection,diffraction and transmission in the propagation of radio waves,which lead to the small-scale fading of narrow-band signals.In order to establish an efficient and reliable narrowband wireless communication system in cabin,it is necessary to conduct an in-depth study on the propagation characteristics of radio waves in ship cabin environment.This paper compares and analyzes several Narrow Band Internet of Things transmission modes and selects LoRa as a means of wireless communication.3DS MAX modeling software is used to model a solid cabin and Ray-Tracing algorithm is used to analyze electromagnetic theory.The Wireless Insite electromagnetic simulation software is used to study the propagation characteristics of the wireless signal in the 433 MHz frequency band of LoRa technology in the presence of large obstacle environment such as the main diesel engine in the steel ship environment,and the characteristics of the antenna receiving power are analyzed in this process.In addition,a communication test equipment based on LoRa mechanism is designed and manufactured for the collection and analysis of signal strength in real ship's cabin,and the actual measured results are compared with the simulation results,and then the reliable transmission path of NB-IoT LoRa wireless communication in ship cabin is put forward.The research in this paper can provide theoretical basis for the planning and optimization of wireless communication network in ship's cabin,and it is of great significance for the intelligent and modern ship design and manufacture,as well as the intelligent transformation of old ship cabin.
