The Application Of Humanistic Elements In Campus Souvenir Design

With the rapid development of the current international trend,foreign exchange and cooperation is continuously expanding.Cultural and creative products have got more and more attention,which is also the reason for me to choose the cultural creation and brand design as my major during my study for MFA.In the process of studying,I have learned that the competition in today’s culture is becoming more and more fierce.It is obvious that economic culturalization,cultural economization,and economic-cultural integration has become a trend.Plenty of cultural resources in our country have not been developed into a distinctive cultural products,which guides me to select my research design topic.I am working in Nanchang No.1 Secondary Vocational School which is a national key vocational school and has more than 60 years’ history.Our school enjoys great reputation in Jiangxi province.But there is no formal campus culture products developed these years,which is absolutely a great loss for a famous school to build up the “Brand Image”.Today,a lot of schools have gradually realized the importance of the “Brand Image” because of the increasing school openness.It is necessary for these domestic schools to increase the development of school culture products,design some school souvenirs and set up souvenir centers.In this thesis,the author attempts to explore the creative conception of campus souvenir design,based on the characteristics of secondary vocational schools and take Nanchang No.1 Secondary Vocational School as an example.By the analysis and summary of the present situation of souvenirs at home and abroad,I’ve got that the conception of domestic campus souvenirs design is obsolete.Therefore,at the beginning of my research,I’ve chosen the illustration style as a breakthrough,which is different from the the realistic style and create a unique souvenir image to Nanchang No.1 Secondary Vocational School.I will extract the elements based on the school-running 3haracteristics,humanism,and landscape of our school and use the illustration style to make an integration design.Thus,more different types of souvenir design can be derived so that the souvenirs become more fashionable and unique in Nanchang No.1 Secondary Vocational School,which is also the significance of this souvenir design.
