This paper researches the practice of a graduation design of the new senior highschool campus landscape design method in order to make an exploratory study. Theresult of the research found three aspects which are influential to the new senior highschool campus landscape design. First aspect: Functional demand factors. Functionalrequirements depend on and are determined by: physical and psychologicalcharacteristics of students’ and teachers’ behaviors, decisions and demands; from thehigh school educational characteristics. Second aspect: physical environmental factors.The landscape designs of the natural environment and social environment. Thirdaspect:cultural factors. Regional history context, human consciousness, aesthetic quality,etc. Next the literature and field of the existing high school campus landscape wereresearched. On one hand, it summarized a universal law of the construction modeundertaken and grasped the current high school campus landscape features. On the otherhand, it found out the problems existing in the present situation and how to solve theproblems in the new project design. Finally on the basis of previous research, the authordesigned the landscape of the new senior high school campus by stages from themacrocosmic to microscopic. I.e. the scale of the landscape design to the minor detaildesigns contained within the campus planning phase. The interaction between campusplanning and landscape design effectively makes the campus’ design intention to befully realized and partial lags in the design during the passive situation can be avoided,proving to be positive.
