Secondary vocational schools are called for short as vocational school.They offer a wide range of disciplines and specialties,so as to cultivate millions of high-quality labor talents.The curriculum of secondary vocational students in school not only includes the study of theoretical knowledge,but also the training skills.The application of teaching video in the secondary vocational "Car Chassis Construction and Maintenance" course can effectively improve the teaching effect and students' academic performance.And it also cultivates students' practical operation skills.In recent years,China has been vigorously promoting the process of informationized teaching.Teachers are also constantly learning information technology and modern teaching concepts to realize informationized teaching.As an informationized teaching method,video has been widely used in various subjects.In this paper,the author studied through the early field survey,questionnaire survey,teacher interviews and other research methods in order to testify the teaching effect of the teaching video in the secondary vocational "Car Chassis Construction and Maintenance" course,and table some suggestions..This study found some problems in traditional teaching through preliminary investigation,understood students' hobbies and needs,and analyzed students' characteristics.The author reviewed and referred to a large number of literatures to discuss the background,purpose,significance and content of this study.In this study,the author use the questionnaire survey method,literature analysis method,educational experiment method as the research methods,and SPSS to analyze the data involved.The author selects two classes of the first grade automobile repair in a vocational school in YinChuan as the research object and one class as the experimental class.In the teaching process of the "Car Chassis Construction and Maintenance" course.The author uses the teaching video to assist the teaching.The other class is the control class.In the case of the same class hour and content,video is not used in the teaching process of the course.The author observed and recorded the performance of the two classes and made a comparative analysis of the mid-term and final scores of the research objects.It was concluded that the use of video auxiliary teaching could improve students' interest in learning and significantly improve their understanding of the principles and rules of automobile repair,mastery of operational skills and expansion of new knowledge.At the same time,using teaching video in the secondary vocational course can achieve the effect of improving students' academic performance.
