Architecture Discussion And Mechanics Analysis Of Dougong

As the essence of ancient Chinese architecture,Dougong reflects superb architectural art and wisdom of ancient people and has immeasurable value in the field of architecture.It is a connecting link located between eaves and pillars.Because of Dougong,there is a strong oriental cultural attribute of Chinese architecture and the glory of Chinese ancient architecture.This thesis takes Dougong as the topic and is mainly carried out from following four aspects:1.The significance and effect of Dougong in architecture and structure are intro-duced respectively,as well as its research progress.2.The composition and classification of Dougong are demonstrated in detail.Moreover,the origin and evolution of Dougong are elaborated.Its artistic characteristics and application in modern civilization are also discussed,with its change rule from Song Dynasty to Qing Dynasty mainly emphasized.3.Based on BIM technology,the parameter design of the Song-style Dougong is carried out and the Revit of each component are established applying the size modulus of its components.And then all components are grouped into two different kinds of Dougong models according to their modular relations,namely Si Pu Zuo and Wu Pu Zuo.4.Three-dimensional finite element numerical simulation analysis is carried out using the three-dimensional finite element numerical analysis method and the force performance of Si Pu Zuo under vertical load,which provides a basis for the structural design of Dougong.
