Research On Pedestrian Accessibility And Service Efficiency Of Primary And Secondary Schools In Nanning Supported By Multi-source Data

With the development of social economy and culture in our country,he requirement of basic education development is increasing.The balanced development of basic public education,which is based on primary and secondary education,has become the focus of education development during the 13 th Five-Year Plan period in Guangxi.Walking to and from school has an important role in promoting the healthy development of primary and secondary school students.It is also a condition that needs to be considered in the future of primary and secondary school layout.With the continuous expansion of urban space in Nanning,the educational facilities of primary and secondary schools cannot fully meet the requirements of social and economic development.The problems of insufficient educational resources and uneven educational layout are still obvious.Therefore,studying the accessibility and service efficiency of primary and secondary schools in Nanning can timely discover the current situation in the spatial layout of primary and secondary schools,and it has important practical significance for rational allocation of compulsory education resources in Nanning and promoting the balanced development of education in Nanning.This study takes the primary and secondary schools in the downtown area of Nanning as the analysis object.Based on the open data platform such as “Baidu Map”,it acquires POI data,OSM data,remote sensing satellite image data,Baidu thermal map data,etc.,combined with big data analysis methods.The population data is meshed.Based on the analysis of the status quo of primary and secondary schools,population,residential areas and pedestrian road networks,the GIS spatial analysis method is used to construct the primary and secondary school service areas,to solve the shortest walking time for the residents to reach the nearest primary and secondary school facilities,and to Data and population gridding are superimposed,and the pedestrian accessibility and service efficiency of primary and secondary schools in Nanning are analyzed and evaluated from the perspectives of primary and secondary school coverage efficiency,convenience of residential areas to the convenience of primary and secondary schools,and the coupling of primary and secondary school layout and school age population.Finally,according to the analysis of pedestrian accessibility and service efficiency in primary and secondary schools,the spatial optimization suggestions for primary and secondary schools in Nanning are proposed to promote the balanced layout of primary and secondary schools in Nanning,in order to provide reference for the spatial layout planning of primary and secondary schools in Nanning.The main conclusions are as follows:(1)There is no corresponding relationship between the number of primary and secondary schools and the size of land.The number of primary and secondary schools is positively correlated with the population,population density,distribution of residential sites,and road density.The population of Nanning is mainly distributed in the central area of the city.The demand for primary schools in areas with large population is large,and the demand for middle schools with large population density is large.The concentration of residential areas in the central areas such as Youyi Area and Dashatian North has great demand for primary and secondary schools.The demand for primary and secondary school facilities is higher in the community;the greater the road density,the greater the number of primary and secondary schools.(2)Nanning primary and secondary school service area coverage and repeated coverage are not balanced.The coverage of primary and secondary schools in Wuxiang New District is obviously low.The area of repeated coverage of the primary and secondary school service areas in the old towns such as Beihu-Hengyang is large.There are two places in the eastern part of Dashatian and two areas where the primary and secondary schools cover the area.The coverage area is large.(3)Nanning Elementary School has good accessibility and good accessibility in middle school.The primary and secondary schools in newly-built residential quarters such as Wuxiang New District have a poor pedestrian accessibility.Santang Town and Wutang Town are located in the streets(towns)around the city.The pedestrian accessibility of the villages is not high.(4)The coupling between primary and secondary school layout and school-age population in Nanning is generally good,but the coupling degree of street population is not balanced.The coupling degree between primary school coverage and primary school age population is obviously different.The coupling degree between middle school coverage and primary school age population is mainly declining from the central city to the surrounding area.The service efficiency of school-age population in Shajing Street and Xinyi Street are low,the new districts such as Longgang District will have hidden dangers in the provision of primary and secondary schools.
