With the development of the information age,user needs have gradually become diverse,and people are not only satisfied with the basic functions of products,but also pay more attention to the service and experience of products in the process of use.With the widespread attention paid to the physical health of Chinese primary and secondary school students and the "youthfulness" of various diseases such as hypertension and hyperlipidemia,the physical examination of primary and secondary school students has gradually received attention.However,there are still few design studies on the direction of physical examination for primary and secondary school students.Therefore,this study is based on the product service system theory,exploring a series of issues for primary and secondary school students when receiving physical examinations with a physical examination vehicle,and through the design practice of the physical examination vehicle,meeting their needs for a series of physical examinations at school,in order to improve their experience of physical examinations at school.This research originates from a horizontal topic,which needs to fully consider the realizability and economy of the project.Therefore,the main content of the design research is based on the existing mature models.Due to the determination of the external characteristics of existing vehicle models,the design of the medical examination vehicle in this study mainly focuses on redesigning the interior of the medical examination vehicle.First of all,starting from the research background of the increasing importance of physical examination for primary and secondary school students,the widespread application of product service system theory in the field of medical health,and the rapid development of physical examination vehicles,this paper explores the research value and feasibility of solving the physical examination needs of primary and secondary school students from the perspective of product service system for physical examination vehicles.Based on the product service system theory,this study analyzes the physical examination vehicle and physical examination service for primary and secondary school students,in order to clarify the various system elements and functions of the current product service system for primary and secondary school students’ physical examination vehicles,and take this as the research basis;Secondly,through desktop research,questionnaire surveys,and user interviews,the user’s physical examination needs in the medical examination vehicle product service system were studied from a shallow to a deep level.The importance of primary and secondary school students’ physical examination needs in school was scored using the expert group-information weight method,and the importance ranking of primary and secondary school students’ physical examination needs was obtained.Then analyzing the relationship between the physical examination needs of primary and secondary school students and the design elements of the physical examination vehicle product service system,starting from the needs of the three stages before,during,and after the physical examination,this paper proposes a design strategy for the physical examination vehicle for primary and secondary school students based on product service systems;Finally,according to the design strategy,the design practice and output of product service systems such as medical examination vehicles and mobile medical examination APP were carried out,and the effectiveness of the research was confirmed through usability verification.Then,the innovation and limitations of this research were summarized,and the future related research were prospected.This study explores the design strategy of primary and secondary school physical examination vehicles from the perspective of product service systems,providing new ideas on the design level for improving the user experience of primary and secondary school physical examination and helping them better conduct health management.Studying the medical examination vehicle for primary and secondary school students from the perspective of product service systems eliminates the problem of a single perspective in previous product design research,and shifts the design perspective from a product to a system that integrates products and services,providing a better interpretation of "human centered" in product design,while also providing reference for other product designs.
