Hohhot city is the capital of Inner Mongolia autonomous region.With the growing of urban population and the sustained and rapid economic development,the level of urbanization and motorization has also improved step by step,and along with the issues of land expansion,traffic congestion,environmental degradation,etc,which become an important factor restricting the development of the city itself.Urban rail transit has the characteristics of green,safe,punctuality and comfort,etc.So it has become an important means to solve the contradiction between urban traffic supply and demand,stimulate urban economic development and guide urban structure optimization.Therefore,it is necessary and urgent to develop urban rail transit for Hohhot.The main contents of this thesis are as follows:Firstly,based on the investigation and analysis of the basic situation and social and economic development of the city,this thesis predicted that the urban rail transit passenger flow situation,time distribution and interchange situation,through analyzing the passenger source,growth trend and the characteristics of passenger flow section.Then it concluded that the city's rail transit passenger flows include mainly the people working in the downtown area and living in the surrounding area,some customers living in the downtown area and working in the surrounding area,the daily commuters within the main urban area,and the passenger flow tourism shopping,consumption,entertainment along the line and passenger from the external transportation hub.The four parts of commuters consist the whole passenger flow.Because the large amount of exchange of commuter passenger flow in the central urban area,the morning peak hours is in the 7:00-9:00 and the evening peak hours is in the 17:00-19:00,which almost take up for 51.5%of the total daily passenger flow in the rail transit.The whole day passenger flow profile showed the fish-belly shape characteristics of middle high and both ends low.In particular,the morning peak passenger flow is higher aggregation.Secondly,this thesis completed the design of Hohhot rail transit operation organization.According to the prediction and analysis of passenger flow,eonsidering the operation efficiency and benefits at the same time,selecting the most appropriate intersection return-point and determining to solve the operation organization problems such as operation in the initial,short-term and long-term routing schemes,operation time,train running plan and train time.The main purpose of allocating traffic routes is to rationally distribute traffic energy,save vehicles and equipment to meet the needs of passenger transport and facilitate operation.Train routing specifies the length of the train running interval,from which station to return,and the number of trains running on different routes.Small routes should cover all transfer nodes of the five long-term urban rail transit routes in Hohhot and key construction areas in the urban area in the near future.In order to save investment and simplify the whole line distribution as far as possible,the short and long-term traffic routes should be kept as consistent as possible,with the ratio of large and small traffic trains running at 2:1.According to the forecast results and characteristcs of passenger flow,it is suggested that Hobhot urban rail transit should operate for a total of 18 hours throughout the day,starting at 5:00 a.m.and ending at 23:00 p.m.,and the rest of the time should be used for the maintenance of urban rail transit lines and equipment.The stopping time is more suitable than the 35S design.Thirdly,this thesis completed the organizational framework and operation mode design of urban rail transit in Hohhot.The organizational structure of Hohhot urban rail transit,the related problems of ticket management and the influencing factors of Hohhot urban rail transit ticket price are analyzed,on this basis,according to the basic principles of urban rail transit ticket price formulation,combined with the actual situation of Hohhot,establishes a pricing model and formulates the Hohhot urban rail transit.According to the principle of vehiclesystem selection,a vehicle system scheme is formulated for Hohhot rail transit.Finally,a B-type vehicle is recommended for Hohhot rail transit network.According the basic situation of rail transit in Hohhot,the characteristics of passenger flow are analyzed in detail.On this basis,the design of Hohhot urban rail transit operation organization and operation mode is completed,and the specific operation plan is formulated,which provides a certain reference for the development of Hohhot urban rail transit.
