With the introduction of relevant policies,the development of prefabricated steel structure buildings has been attached more and more importance.It is believed that in the near future,the volume of prefabricated steel structure buildings in China will increase rapidly.The main structure of the steel frame system with external wall panel adopts the steel frame with mature technical system,and the external wall protection adopts the point-type PC external wall panel,which has the advantages of high assembly rate and convenient construction and can be used in multi-high-rise prefabricated steel structure buildings.The study on the steel frame system with external wall panel can provide the experimental and theoretical basis for the popularization and application of the new type of wall panel system in the prefabricated steel structure building.In this paper,the seismic capacity of steel frame system with external wall panel is studied by means of experiment and finite element calculation.Firstly,the bearing capacity test of the improved joints was carried out to determine its bearing capacity and failure mode.Secondly,two pure steel frames and three steel frame specimens with external wall panels connected by point joints were tested for seismic performance.Finally,Finally,ABAQUS is used to analyze and study the mechanical performance of steel frame with external wall panel connected by improved connecting joints.The test results show that the stiffness of the upper joints is low and the deformation capacity is strong;the horizontal tension bearing capacity of the lower joints is controlled by the vertical plate of the lower joints,and the vertical and horizontal compression are controlled by the horizontal floor of the lower joints.When the external wall panel is connected to the steel frame in a whole through joints,the bearing capacity and stiffness of the frame will be significantly increased.The presence of external wall panel will not cause a significant decrease in the fullness of the hysteretic loop curve of the structure.In addition,the structural integrity is good under load,and the wall panel will not fall off from the structure.The analysis of experimental data shows that the ductility of the structure is good and its aseismic capability meets the requirements of the standard.The results of finite element simulation show that the shape of load-displacement curve of the structure is similar to that of the pure steel frame,and there is no phenomenon that the connection bolts are sheared.In order to adapt to the large displacement of external wall panels,the upper joints have higher stress level,and plastic deformation will occur under large displacement.The smaller the pre-tightening force of high-strength bolts used in the connection between upper joints and steel beams,the better the rotation effect of upper joints.However,the pre-tightening force of bolts has little effect on the displacement mode of external wall panels.The displacement mode of external wall panels under the improved joints is translation and rotation.
