With the severe energy situation in the world and the further deepening of the reform of the national electric power system,the electric power industry is developing towards marketization and commercialization.More and more thermal power plants are introducing modern management information systems in order to adjust the resource structure.While the resource allocation is gradually rationalized,it can reduce the operating costs of enterprises,maximize the benefits of enterprises and enhance the core competitiveness of enterprises.In coal-fired power plants,coal as an important fuel of power plants,its cost accounts for about 70%of the total cost of power plants.Fuel management is an important of thermal power plant production,promote the informationization development of fuel management in thermal power plants,reduce fuel consumption,standardize fuel management process,make the operation of fuel management system more standard and effective,realize the whole process management of fuel from entering,collecting,storing and consuming,ensure the timely transmission and sharing of fuel data,enable staff to dynamically track and supervise the quantity,quality and price of fuel throughout the process,and reduce human factors.Therefore,the fuel information management system is developed and designed.The fuel information management system of thermal power plant designed and developed in this paper is based on the principle of "safety,reliability and easy maintenance".It adopts B/S structure mode and uses ASP.NET,HTML and database technology in the design process.It develops and designs four main functional modules:fuel plan information management,fuel incoming information management,fuel acquisition and chemical information management,and fuel report information management.It realizes a series of processes of fuel purchasing in thermal power plant,such as entering plant,over-balancing,sampling,sample preparation,testing,acceptance,entering furnace,settlement,statistical analysis and so on.The practical application shows that the designed system runs stably and reliably,contributes to the rational allocation of fuel in thermal power plants,reduces the management cost of bauxite and improves the production efficiency.
