Urbanization is a day to day progression.Peoples from different areas settle to the nearest urbanized city.Usually in developing countries people travel to urbanized area from different parts of the country, hopping to have a better service and facilities.Such as accessing better infrastructure, job, drinking water, information, civilization etc.The higher the city develops, the rate of urbanization increase very fast.Rapid development increases an attraction towards a high population density in the city, which is rapid urbanization will be generated.Due to rapid urbanization enormous amount of flow of people will produce a complex problem in the city.Mobility is the top most challenge for most of rapidly developing countries.Mobility in this paper context is the movement of people from using public transportation specifically Mini Buses,in case of study area.Aiming in assessing the mobility challenges due to rapid urbanization to characterize using space parameters, two phases has proposed. The first phase is to understand mobility from the passenger point of view in public buses(Mini Bus). For this phase a questionnaire in the appendix has distributed and ranked accordingly. The second phase is to illustrate the road network of the case study area and collect secondary data for the top three challenges responded from the questionnaire of inhabitant the first phase. In conclusion,a result was found that the top challenges in the case study areas are congestion, accident, public transportation demand and lack of parking area. The top most reason for congestion is capacity of road,on street illegal market and on street vehicle parking.Though the collected data is a limitation for the road networks the data shows there is weak correlation between number of vehicle in road and integration, connectivity and mean depth of the identified area.
