So far the quality of parts produced is the foundation of the machinery industry development.With the development of science and technology,the machinery industry is paying more and more attention to the production and transformation of parts,and the production technology and process level have become the main content of the competition in the machinery industry.Therefore,to improve the quality of parts manufacturing,machinery industry has become an urgent need to solve the problem.Bearing is an important component of machinery,it is widely used in machinery,it can be seen in any mechanical equipment,it belongs to the industrial products with high precision,it needs the support of many scientific theories,such as mathematics,physics,etc.,as well as precision machining and measuring technology,materials science and technology in the field of heat treatment technology and computer technology aspects of the service,so that the quality of the bearing not only decides the performance of the main machine,service life and reliability,at the same time,more can reflect a country's level of science and technology.The motivation of this study is derived from 'customer feedback' and customer complaints.Based on six sigma DMAIC process,the failure rate of one shaft bearing of G company is improved.In the definition stage,the scope of the project was confirmed by using SIPOC diagram,and the key output Y was confirmed as isometric failure of a shaft bearing.The project goal was set as 3MIS R/ 1000:0.02.In the measurement stage,it is confirmed that there is no misjudgment in the failure of the bearing,and the process capability of the failure of the bearing needs to be improved,through theoretical analysis,data analysis and verification analysis,it is found that the key influencing factors are uncontrolled bearing heating,bearing compression and poor bearing cleanliness.Finally,In the improvement stage,targeted improvement and success were achieved through the purchase of new type heating machine,modification of pressing machine and the method of bearing suppliers to improve the frequency of bearing cleanliness detection.Finally,in the control stage,confirm that the project has successfully reached the set goals,update the control plan,PFEMA,and standardize.This six sigma project has improved the quality control level of one shaft bearing and customer satisfaction,which has certain reference significance for similar domestic enterprises to promote the six sigma method in the future.
