Research On The Construction Of Human Settlement From The General Planning Of Mountain Resort

Nowadays,Human settlements of China is undergoing the process of rapid urbanization,and facing many serious problems,such as the historical context of fault,loss of city characteristics,and severe ecological damage.Complex human activities and demands were concentrated in the city,and recorded by the city.Transplantation or imitation of the urban form under the background of modem western culture,ignores the differences and limitations of the living environment in China and the west,which leads to the phenomenon of "unacclimatized,today.The construction of human settlements in ancient China has been adhering to the concept of generations,and accumulated a set of theoretical system suited to their natural conditions and cultural traditions.However,contemporary research lacks sufficient theoretical knowledge,as well as the lack of human settlement construction method and the design logic research.The purpose of this research is to obtain revelation for the construction of the contemporary human settlement through studying of ancient Chinese practices and methods on human settlement.In this research,we use case study and complex problem solving based on the method of"making the past serves the present to inherit and innovate".Firstly,the research object and scope were defined,and we obtain the understanding of the law and theory of the Royal Garden Mountain Resort in ancient China based on the theory of human settlement combination of Chengde historical context.The general planning ideas of Mountain Resort contains priority to the development of natural ecology,artificial moderate development,and the continuation of history,which we believe has guiding significance for the ecological construction of human settlements,city improving and characteristic molding.Secondly,we discussed the possible ways to learn from the ancient ideas of the contemporary human settlements.And then Chengde was taken as an example to study the dominant factors,such as the native environment,urban and landscape,scale and dimension,angle and the line of sight,buildings and vegetation,and historical context,and discuss how to inherit and develop from Mountain Resort to Chengde human settlements.Finally,we take the theoretical research results as a reference to study human settlement construction of other historical city,and verify its breadth and applicability.This thesis focuses on human settlement design of city,and reveals the traditional human settlement achievements.From a general planning of the ancient human settlement theory,new knowledge are acquired on human settlement construction of Chengde,and the specific strategies,methods and the tentative plan of constructing residential environment are put forward.Therefore,making the past serves the present.On the one hand,this research reveals the contemporary significance of traditional human settlements.On the other hand,it also provides more reference for the residential environment construction in China today.
