Restoration Research On The Qingyin Pavilion In Chengde Mountain Resort

Built in the 42nd year of Emperor Kangxi,Chengde Mountain Resort is the largest royal garden in the Qing Dynasty.At the end of the Qing Dynasty,the national power declined,the whole resort was neglected to manage and began to be abandoned.After the war,many scenic spots no longer existed.The Qingyin Pavilion complex is located in the palace area of Chengde Mountain Resort.It was built during the Kangxi period and the Qianlong period for the emperor's administration,banquet and opera.It is especially characterized by the three-storey stage,Qingyin Pavilion,which was destroyed by fire in the 1940s.The main building site has been reclaimed and is the largest and most important site in Chengde Mountain Resort.In this paper,the relevant documents of the Qingyin Pavilion in Chengde Mountain Resort were collected and arranged,including the historical archives,the private narratives of the officials,and the modern and contemporary architectural studies and opera culture studies.The old photos of the middle of the last century were found.Firstly,based on the field investigation and actual mapping of the Qingyin Pavilion complex,the background and the overall construction of the palace area of the Mountain Resort was combed,and the design ideas and characteristics were summarized to focus on the historical development of the Qingyin Pavilion complex,judge the establishment time and background of each single building according to the information of the court archives and other materials.Secondly,combining the excavation of Qianlong's life and the study of the Qing culture,the functions of the Qingyin Pavilion complex were discussed to analyze its cultural,social,political and other aspects of the function and use.And combining with the opera culture,the vertical development of the Qingyin Pavilion and stages of other periods was researched,and the horizontal comparison between the Qingyin Pavilion and other three-storey theater building was researched.Thirdly,based on historical documents,mapping drawings,historical images,ruins,unearthed components and other materials,the Qingyin Pavilion complex was restored from the overall architectural layout to each single buildings.Through the architectural drawings,models and other methods,the entire building group was shown,so as to restore the original appearance of the Qingyin Pavilion complex in the Qianlong period as much as possible.
