Urban Design Of Ancient City Neighborhood Based On The Concept Of "Urban Double Repair"

In March 2017,the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Construction issued the Guiding Opinions on Strengthening the Urban Renovation of Ecological Restoration,and arranged for the deployment of "Urban Double Repair" nationwide,that is,"Urban Renovation,Ecological Restoration".Suzhou was selected as the third batch of pilot cities.In the same year,the Ministry of Housing,Urban and Rural Construction issued the Notice on the Listing of 20 Cities such as Beijing as the First Pilot City of Urban Design,among which Suzhou was also included,and the ancient urban area of Suzhou was selected as the pilot area of urban design in Suzhou.Combining with the advanced concept of "urban double repair",the innovative thinking of ecological priority and stock priority is integrated into the urban design of ancient city blocks in Suzhou,which provides a new idea for urban design of ancient city blocks.This paper attempts to use the concept of "urban double repair" to carry out the urban design of ancient city neighborhoods in Suzhou.According to the system of "problem-countermeasure-demonstration",this paper constructs a basic research framework.Firstly,this paper combines the research methods of literature review and case analysis,grasps the latest developments of relevant research and practice at home and abroad,and analyses the advantages and disadvantages of its work in urban construction and ecological restoration;secondly,through the analysis of the problems in urban design of ancient city neighborhoods,summarizes its future development trend,and introduces the concept of "urban double repair" and discusses it.The feasibility of urban design of ancient city neighborhoods is guided by "urban double repair".Then,the urban design system based on the concept of "urban double repair" is constructed,and the urban design strategies under the concepts of "ecological restoration" and "urban repair" are analyzed in detail.Finally,the feasibility of the system is verified in the urban design project of 7,8 and 9 blocks of Suzhou ancient city,and the system is carried out.Some supplements have been made to improve its universal applicability.
