Study On The Strategy Of "Urban Double Repair" In The Old City Renewal

Reform and opening up has gone through a glorious course of 40 years.With the rapid economic growth,China has experienced a large-scale urbanization process and achieved extraordinary achievements.By the end of 2018,China’s urbanization rate has reached 59.58%.Although China has made great achievements in urban planning and construction,we should also be aware of the rapid development of urbanization.With the continuous development of urban construction,stock planning has become one of the main directions of urban construction;how to realize the city The efficient use of land,improving the overall quality of the city,and improving the quality of life of urban residents are the focus of current urban construction.The old city renewal is an important way of stock planning.How to solve the problems such as the destruction of the ecological environment of the old urban area,the lack of public service facilities and the supply of municipal infrastructure,the out of control of the old city’s style and the traffic congestion in the area,etc.Old City updates provide new theoretical experience and practical guidance.“City double repair”,namely “urban repair and ecological restoration”,was first proposed and practiced by Sanya in 2015.In the same year,the Central City Work Conference clearly pointed out that urban renewal has become one of the important modes of urban construction in the era of urban stock development.In 2017,the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development’s Guiding Opinions on Strengthening the Urban Rehabilitation Work of Ecological Restoration pointed out that “the urban double repair is an important action to control the “urban disease” and improve the living environment,and it is to promote the supply-side structural reform and complement the urban short-board.The objective needs are an important indicator of the way the city transforms its development." Therefore,how to use the "city double repair" to achieve the healthy and sustainable development of the old city,so as to reach the requirements of deep urbanization has become the subject of this research.This paper takes Wuzhong District’s old city as an empirical research object.Through the review of the old city and the basic theory of "double urban repair" and related theoretical research and practical research at home and abroad,it firstly sorts out the status quo of domestic old city renewal and the renewal of domestic old city.Analysis of the problem,based on the previous study of “Urban Double Repair”,summed up the development and transformation of the old city renewal in the “double repair of the city” and the goal orientation,thus constructing six strategies under the two strategies of “ecological restoration and urban repair”.The “double repair” framework for the construction of the aspect and the implementation of the strategy guarantees the sustainable and healthy development of the old city.This paper hopes to play a little beneficial inspiration for the future development of China’s old cities by studying the "double urban repair" strategy in the old city renewal.
