As vulnerable road users, pedestrians are easily injured in collisions.According to the World Health Organization's 2015 Global Report on Road Safety, more than1.2 million people worldwide die from traffic accidents every year, with pedestrians accounting for 22%.Head injury is the main cause of pedestrian death. However,China's current road traffic environment is relatively complicated, there are a large number of pedestrian-vehicle mixed roads, pedestrian traffic safety awareness is weak, people and vehicles collision accidents occur frequently, and pedestrian safety issues are more prominent in China. Therefore, the accident analysis and pedestrian protection research based on the recurrence technology of human-car collision accidents can help reduce the collision of people and vehicles, reduce the risk of pedestrian injury in collision accidents, and effectively protect pedestrian safety.Has important practical significance. The main research contents of this paper are:Firstly,on the basis of vehicle crash mechanics and multi-rigid-body dynamics, the vehicle crash mechanics model is established, and the vehicle kinematics equation, vehicle dynamics equation, pedestrian multi-rigid-body system kinematics equation and pedestrian multi-rigid-body system dynamics equation are deduced and calculated.Secondly, the data of pedestrian-vehicle collision accidents in NAIS database are analyzed, and the characteristics of pedestrian-vehicle collision accidents in China are summarized.Based on this,12 factors and 3 levels of orthogonal experiments are designed to analyze the significance of factors affecting pedestrian head injury in pedestrian-vehicle collision accidents. The specific factors of high significance are analyzed in detail, and the influences of collision speed, collision angle, collision position and geometric parameters of vehicle front end on pedestrian head damage are explored.Based on this,a practical pedestrian protection proposalwas put forward. Finally, the SPSS software is used to perform statistical and regression analysis on the simulation data, and the regression equation of pedestrian head damage prediction under the influence of multiple factors is obtained. The practicality of the regression equation was verified by selecting three real-life crash accident cases in Harbin. The research significance of this paper is based on the recurrence of human-vehicle collision accidents, using virtual simulation technology to study the factors affecting pedestrian head injury, and obtaining the regression equation of pedestrian head damage under the influence of multiple factors, combined with real accidents. The case verifies the practicality of the equation. It plays an important role in the future use of pedestrian head damage to measure the collision speed and vehicle design for pedestrian protection.
