With the rapid development of automotive industry,quality problem has attracted more and more attention from enterprises and customers.MSA and SPC are two of the five tools used by automobile manufacturers in quality management.SPC technology is an effective quality control method and MSA can ensure the reliability of measurement data.Combining them can make quality improvement efficient.Stamping panels are important parts of the whole vehicle.Their quality directly affects the appearance quality of the whole vehicle.Because of the complex stamping process,the probability of quality defects is higher.Therefore,the quality control of automobile stamping panels is both important and difficult.This topic comes from the stamping workshop of H company.The downward sequence production workshops often feedback that the stamping workshop has the phenomenon of necking defect parts flowing out,which even leads to cracking at necking area.Most of the appearance quality defects of panel can be identified by visual and tactile inspection of quality inspectors.Necking is the local thickness of the panel becomes thinner,the obvious necking is easy to identify,but the unobvious necking defect is hidden and difficult to detect.The production speed of the panel is fast,it is easy to lead to defect in batches if there is no good quality control method,resulting in great loss of quality and cost.By analyzing the attribute value measurement system in stamping workshop panel quality inspection,the shortcomings in quality inspection are evaluated.Traditional visual inspection can not meet the quality control requirements of workshop.More advanced quality control methods are needed to control the thickness of panel to reduce necking defects.Based on above problems,this paper uses the method of MSA and SPC to study the quality control of panel thickness from the perspective of process control which can find out quality problems as early as possible,so as to avoid finding the problems until the final quality inspection.This is of great significance for improving the quality of panel and reducing the occurrence and outflow of necking fundamentally.MSA is the key to ensure data reliability,ensuring that variations come from production processes rather than measurement systems.In this paper,the stability,bias,linearity,repeatability and reproducibility of the measurement system are analyzed in detail with the help of statistical analysis software before the statistical process analysis,and the qualified measurement system is obtained which provides reliable data support for the follow-up research.This paper establishes a method of quality control of automobile panel based on SPC,and uses control chart to judge whether the production process is stable or not.Taking the right side panel of a vehicle as an example,the detailed statistical process control is carried out.The possible causes of uncontrolled production process are analyzed and improved.Finally,the production process is in a stable and controlled state,and the process capability index is raised to an acceptable range.
