With the rapid development of motor vehicles,environmental pollution,trafic congestion and other issues have become increasingly apparent,seriously affecting people's daily travel.Witih the explosive development of the waterfront greenway construction,people expect a way of leisure,recreation,fitness,commuting and integration to change the current predicament.The city's waterfront greenway non-motorized transport space is a linear open space that connects the green spaces,residential areas,squares,and commercial streets along the urban water system with a slow path based on the waterfront greenway.The interior is in the form of traffic in a slow mode,and is equipped with relatively complete service facilities for users to entertain,communicate,commute,swim and other series of commuting and leisure activities.It can not only provide space for outdoor activities for slow travel,but also effectively supplement urban slow traffic.Therefore,strengthening the design of the city's waterfront greenway non-motorized transport space is the best choice to solve the current predicament.At present,most of the design of the non-motorized transport space of the waterfront greenway in China stays in the commuting level of the traffic field.There are a series of problems such as discontinuous network discontinuity,lack of characteristics of landscape,imperfect slow-moving facilities,and low ecological benefits.Provide the material and environmental basis for the public to choose a healthy,slow-moving travel mode.This paper takes the non-motorized transport space of urban waterfront greenway as the research object,combs its development process from the theoretical and practical levels,and clarifies its basic connotation.Through the analysis of the psychological characteristics and behavioral characteristics of the internal slow-movers,the main points of slow-space design are clarified.And select a relevant excellent case from Beijing,Shanghai,Hangzhou,and Shenzhen to conduct on-the-spot investigations,and use the PSPL(Public Space and Public Life)survey method to commonize the layout and use of the non-motorized transport space,and the needs of the slow-movers.And the difference analysis,summarizing the method content of the urban waterfront greenway non-motorized transport space design.Combined with relevant domestic and international excellent cases for strategic learning,the six principles and six strategies generally applicable to the landscape design of waterfront greenway based on non-motorized transport space are obtained.Among them,the construction of a complete slow-moving system,the setting of convenient service facilities,the use of multiple elements to enrich the landscape is the basic requirement,inheriting regional culture,achieving sustainable development,and strengthening landscape interaction are higher levels of urban development and meeting the public's psychological needs.Finally,the non-motorized transport space landscape design of the Nanhengtao Riverside Greenway in Zhangjiagang City was taken as the project practice,and the conclusions were supported.This paper strives to use scientific theoretical methods,solid research data and a large number of case studies as a guide,combined with the actual situation,adapting the landscape design of the waterfront green space to the local conditions,and expecting to design the non-motorized transport space for the city's waterfront greenway in the future.Provide a reference.
