Research On Landscape Design Of Waterfront Greenway Non-motorized Transport System

Now,the acceleration of urbanization has led to a series of traffic and environmental problems.The development of non-motorized transport and the encouragement of urban green travel have now become active topics,especially the needs of the research of mesoscale and microscale non-motorized traffic system are more urgent.The urban waterfront greenway,as the representative of the urban important linear space,is the crux part of the urban non-motorized traffic system,and it is also an important place for residents to slow down.Therefore,it is of significance for urban construction and residents living to study the planning and design methods of urban waterfront greenway non-motorized transport system.In this study,we design the waterfront greenway non-motorized transport system from the perspective of macro to micro,combine the method of qualitative and quantitative research,and form the research results from strategy to method.Firstly,based on the related studies and practices,this paper discusses the main influence factors and carries out relevant research from 5 aspects respectively of city background,related planning,regional environment,site status and resident activities.Then it defines the research levels from macro to micro and comes up with the objectives and principles of the urban waterfront green non-motorized transport system.And then based on those objectives combed with the analysis of related cases,it focus on the strategies of waterfront greenway non-motorized transport system from 4 aspects,including transportation,ecology,landscape and activities.In addition,under the guidance of the above strategies,the paper makes a reasonable and orderly planning and organization of the three design elements of the waterfront greenway non-motorized transport system:non-motorized transport network,non-motorized transport environment and non-motorized transportfacilities.Then it forms a 4-step planning and designing method which contains planning the structure of non-motorized transport system,integrating the environment of non-motorized transport system,building the network of non-motorized transport system and distributing the facilities of non-motorized transport system.Finally,we demonstrates the methods and strategies above with the case of Kingquan River non-motorized system in Zhaoyuan city.
