A Study Of Ski Resort Planning Method

After 20 years' development,ski tourism in China has entered a stage of rapid development.In July 31st,2015,Beijing and Zhangjiakou successfully obtained the right to host the 2022 Winter Olympics,which will tremendously promote the development of China's ski tourism industry.Meanwhile,domestic ski resort will enter into a rapid development phase.This paper,adopting literature research,survey research and case study methods,objectively commented the theoretical and practical experience of ski resort and ski field's planning,design and operation both at home and abroad.Based on this,the concept and connotation of ski resort was defined.This paper generalized and summarized the planning and design methods for ski field capacity,upgrading lift capacity of equipment,defining skier's level as well as the methods for safety protection,flood control and drainage of ski resort.Considering the management of ski field,this paper systematically put forward some feasible theoretical schemes for all-season operation.From the perspective of ski tourists,it evaluated the lifting equipment's convenience,piste's comfort,piste indicating system's clarity,while proposed several optimization programs.From the perspective of the hosting opportunities of Winter Olympic Games,the thesis presented the concrete methods,ecological protection measures and suggestions for protecting ecological economy development of surrounding areas while developing Winter Olympic tourism in ski resort.Finally,based on the above planning methods,this thesis researched the planning and design of New Snow Country Ski Resort in Zhangjiakou City,Hebei Province,and illustrated and summarized the planning and design features of case study,aiming at providing some theoretical suggestions and references for China's ski resort planning design and development operation.
