Mountain Tourism Endowment Resort Planning And Design Research

ABSTRACT:With the aging of the population in China, the elderly endowment problem has highly attracted social attention. Based on the current situation of an aging population in China and analysis on the elderly people’s endowment living mode as well as their living environment, this paper proposes that tourism endowment is a new method which combines tourism with endowment to satisfy the leisure endowment demand of the elderly people. This thesis also discusses the tourism endowment patterns.Through the collection of relevant data and its analysis, it is obvious that researches on mountain tourism endowment resort is rare, especially on its planning and design. Therefore, the author did this study on the basis of relevant theories and design examples in hoping of concluding some planning and design strategies to create suitable environment for the elderly people and to satisfy the tourism endowment demand of the self-care elderly.This paper lirstlymakes analysis on the definition of "the elderly people" and endowment demand to confirm that the user of the study object is the self-care elderly. It puts forward that tourism endowment is a new mode to meet the endowment demand of the elderly people. It also makes definition and analysis on the relevant concepts andfunctions of tourism endowment, as well as the developing patterns of the current tourism endowment resort. The thesis also discusses the differences and difficulties in the process of planning and designing mountain tourism resort and the plains resort. Based on the demand factors and design factors of mountain tourism endowment resort, this paper then discusses the problems that should be paid attention to in the planning and designing process and summarizes some principles the design should follow. And then this paper concludes the specific planning and design strategies on location selection, overall layout, traffic system design, selection of external space environment design and architectural style. At last, by taking"the Longcang valley endowment health ecological farm"which the author have participated in as a concrete instance, this paper verifies the results of the above study in engineering practice in hope of providing a useful reference for the planning and design of the mountain tourism endowment.
