Modern roads not only need to meet the mechanical performance,but also need to meet the service performance of smooth and comfortable driving of vehicles according to different traffic environments.Severe climatic conditions in Jilin province put forward high requirements for road performance of asphalt pavement.In recent years,adding modifier to asphalt to improve the physical and mechanical properties of asphalt pavement has gradually become the focus of road research.Most commonly used modifiers are organic polymers.How to improve the road performance of asphalt concrete effectively by adding environmental inorganic modifier is an unsolved problem.At the same time,in view of the fact that the current research on low-noise pavement mostly aim at changing the type of asphalt concrete(such as SMA and OGFC),there are few studies on adding modifiers to reduce the noise of ordinary dense grade asphalt pavement.Therefore,in this study,diatomite and basalt fiber,two inorganic modifiers,were introduced to improve the pavement performance and vibration and noise reduction performance of asphalt concrete simultaneously.In this paper,based on the research results of science and technology development plan project of Jilin province and the previous research group,the influence of the modifier content of diatomite modified asphalt mixture and basalt fiber modified asphalt mixture on the pavement performance and vibration and noise reduction performance of asphalt mixture was studied.Then,based on the study of singlemodified asphalt mixture,the optimal mix ratio of diatomite-basalt fiber compound modified asphalt mixture was determined by orthogonal test design method combined with Marshall design method,and the improvement effect of road performance and vibration and noise reduction performance of compound modified asphalt mixture was compared and analyzed.Finally,the compound modified asphalt mixture was applied to the pavement maintenance engineering project,and the construction technology of compound modified asphalt mixture was formed.1.The Marshall design method was used to determine the mixture ratio of diatomite modified asphalt mixture and basalt fiber modified asphalt mixture.The change rule of road performance of diatomite asphalt mixture and basalt fiber asphalt mixture was studied by means of high temperature rutting test,low temperature splitting test,freeze-thaw splitting test and water-immersed Marshall test.2.The influence of diatomite and basalt fiber content on sound absorption and noise reduction performance of separately modified asphalt mixture was analyzed by using the impedance tube acoustic system,tire vibration attenuation test and road hammer test.3.The orthogonal experimental design method was used to study the significant effects of diatomite,basalt fiber content and oil-stone ratio on Marshall index,average sound absorption coefficient and damping ratio,and the optimal mix scheme of diatomite-basalt fiber compound modified asphalt mixture was determined by the comprehensive balance method.Then,the road performance and vibration and noise reduction performance of compound modified asphalt mixture were compared and studied.4.The compound modified asphalt mixture was applied to the actual pavement maintenance project,forming the construction technology of diatomite-basalt fiber compound modified asphalt concrete,and the performance and post-construction quality of the asphalt mixture were tested afterwards.
