Research On The Coordinated Development Mechanism And Path Of Port Economy And City Economy In Chongqing

As an important channel connecting the city and the outside,the water port is integrated and relatively independent.With China's emphasis on the opening degree,the development model of port-city economy has been further explored,and related research on port-city economy has become increasingly hot.Chongqing now has a full-fledged port system of “water,land,air and post”.Its current achievements are inseparable from the new engine of “port economy”,and the water port is the oldest port facility in Chongqing,from the waterway transportation development in the Ming and Qing dynasties until the city labels of "workers with sticks" and "hot pot" nowadays,none is not connected with the water port,the water port is the most powerful witnesses the city's growth.The coordination of port economy and city economy is related to the positioning of port and the planning of city development.Based on the theory of port-city interaction,the theory of port-city growth cycle and the theory of coordinated development,this paper analyzes the interaction mechanism between water port economy and city economy.This paper introduces the actual situation of Chongqing's water port economy and city economy,and obtains the main characteristics of them by comparing with other port cities.Finally,the membership function coordination degree model is used to calculate the coordination degree between Chongqing's water port economy and city economy from 2003 to 2016,and the DEA model is used to promote the mutual promotion efficiency.Based on the empirical results,the coordination development status and possible reasons were obtained,and the development stage of port-city economy was determined.Through research and analysis,it is concluded that the coordination degree between water port economy and city economy has declined in recent years,the main reason is that the promotion efficiency of city economy to port economy is insufficient,and the development of port-city is in the growth stage and moving towards the mature stage.Combined with the actual situation and empirical results,this paper puts forward the mechanism of comprehensive arrangement,reasonable division of labor,industrial linkage and informatization to promote the coordinated development of port economy and city economy.In order to ensure the realization of the above coordination mechanism,the port should integrate resources,strengthen cooperation and proactively extend production lines.The city should make overall planning for port construction,clarify port functions,vigorously support the development of port-related industries and promote the development of an open economy.
