With the acceleration of China's urbanization process, the scale of urban space continues to expand, and new city centers have emerged in urban expansion zones, transforming the urban spatial structure from a single center to a multi-center.At the same time, the quality of city centers is also constantly improving. The city center has undergone a transformation from a traditional city business center to a development model such as the CBD(Central Business District)and CAZ(Central Activity Area),and the functions of the city center have gradually combined. In this context, the paper chooses to study the city center and its spatial relationship is of great significance.Through the review of relevant research results at home and abroad, the paper innovatively combines the material space with the behavior space of the city center, and proposes the concept of city vitality center.Using the inductive and deductive research methods, from the two dimensions of urban function and population behavior, the city vitality center has three characteristics: population agglomeration, functional diversity and spatial correlation, and constructs the theoretical basis of city vitality center research.Based on the theoretical research results of the city vitality center, taking Jinan as an example, the paper selects the AMAP POI data representing the city function and the Baidu thermal map data representing the population agglomeration characteristics as the basic data, and analyzes it with ArcGIS,UCINET,SPSS and other software.A total of 19 city vitality centers were identified. On this basis, the spatial relationship between the19 city vitality centers is studied from the two dimensions of scale and space.Among them, the scale is based on the individual attributes of the vitality center, and a comprehensive index reflecting the population agglomeration ability, functional diversity and area size is constructed, and the clustering method is used for analysis;the spatial connection is from the perspective of “flow space”.The number of enterprises is used as an indicator to reflect the linkages between the vitality centers to analyze the linkage characteristics between Jinan urban vitality centers.Through empirical research, the main conclusions of the paper: First, the spatial relationship of the Jinan city vitality centers shows an obvious “level + network” feature;secondly, the scale difference between different vital centers in Jinan is significant, and the spatial declining and core agglomeration characteristics are present in the space. The vitality scale of Quancheng Road and Daguan Garden in the core circle has an absolute advantage;Third, the network of Jinan City Vitality Centers was initially formed, but the spatial connection of urban vitality centers is quite different, and the network integrity and spatial distribution of different functional vitality centers are also significantly different.Fourth, compared with the scale of the vitality center,in the network The level relationship of the vitality center has changed and the difference is greater, and the Quancheng Road is polarized as the only primary center. The biggest innovation of the thesis is to propose the concept of city vitality center from the dual attributes of material and behavior in the city center, construct the theoretical research framework of city vitality center, and use two kinds of big data comprehensive analysis to the urban vitality center space of Jinan. The relationship is empirically studied. However, due to the complexity of the urban space system itself, the study of the city's vitality center from the perspective of big data is only the beginning, and there is room for further research and development in the future.
