Research On The Relationship Between Compactness And Vitality Of Xi'an Ming City

By the end of 2019,China's urbanization level has reached 60%,and entered the second half according to the law of global urbanization development.Reflecting on the past period of time,the development of Chinese cities is closely related to its unique industrialization process,and more inclined to achieve the expansion of land economic dimension through scale and quantity;now,with the growing needs of people,people begin to pay attention to the improvement of space quality and the well-being of the people.Therefore,the development mode of urban space stock renewal should turn to the attention of urban subject-human.With the transformation of the concept of old city protection and the development of social economy,the research on the construction and development of compact space has become a new direction to explore the impact of old city on society and its future development in the context of stock.The introduction of the concept of compactness breaks people's prejudice that crowded cities will bring troubles to daily life,and explains the positive impact of space on urban vitality from the perspective of multiple and rich urban factors.This paper takes Mingcheng District,the most representative space of ancient capital Xi'an,as the research object.Through this form is the superposition of years,the structure is the interweaving of historical evolution,and the function is the space presented by the material and non-material heritage of different times and nations,we can deeply understand the status quo of space compactness and vitality here,and explore the relationship between them.This paper is composed of three parts.The first part is the first and second chapters of this paper.Through the arrangement of research background,research summary,research purpose and significance,according to the connotation and basic theory of compactness and vitality,this paper constructs the theoretical relevance between compactness and vitality.The second part is the third and fourth chapters of this paper,according to the overall spatial characteristics and spatial vitality of Xi'an Mingcheng district The third part is the fifth and sixth chapters of the thesis.Through the typical space,the influence of the form,function and structural elements of the compactness on the space vitality is clarified.The influence way and degree of the compactness and the vitality relevance are analyzed from the qualitative and quantitative aspects,and then other factors affecting the relevance are found According to the existing problems,the author puts forward some suggestions on how to improve the city's vitality at the level of compactness,and carries out basic data and research ideas for the follow-up research.
