The Promotion And Study On Campus Cultural Landscape From The Perspective Of Environmental Education

With the profound reform of China’s higher education and the full implementation of the strategy of "invigorating the country through science and education",the educational philosophy and education methods have also changed.Since the 1990s,the construction of new campus and the renovation of old campus have flourished,and the campus construction model has gradually shifted from incremental expansion to stock renewal.During the construction,due to the rapid construction speed and the failure to fully understand the cultural and spiritual connotation of the university,a large number of campuses with a sameness and lack of cultural characteristics have been produced.In the final analysis,it is the indifference and lack of the campus cultural environment shaping during the construction process.The environment cultivates people,and the human development process is always in the environment.Campus cultural landscape is the carrier of campus culture and an important part of campus cultural environment.Modern campuses need to be improved in layers to achieve the goal of "environmental education",which is crucial for the cognition and formation of teachers and students’ thoughts and behavior.The study of the campus cultural environment and cultural landscape can not only inherit the characteristic context of the campus,establish the campus cultural identity and sense of belonging,but also have important reference significance in improving the overall cultural atmosphere of the campus and creating a characteristic campus environment.The first chapter introduces the related concepts of campus cultural landscape and discusses the necessity and practical significance of campus cultural landscape.The second chapter enumerates the methods and theoretical foundations of the research.Based on collect:ing and reading the literature,it deeply understands the construction process and misunderstandings of the East and West campuses,absorbing the excellent construction experience and summing up the theoretical basis of the campus cultural landscape construction.The third chapter is the survey,which carries on the general investigation,classification and induction of the change process and current situation of the cultural landscape in Siming Campus of Xiamen University.The fourth chapter summarizes the research results and combines the research situation to put forward the rationalization opinions on the construction of the cultural landscape of the new and old campuses of Xiamen University.The fifth chapter takes the actual project as an opportunity,combines theory with practice to verify the design theories and methods.The sixth chapter summarizes the research results of the full text and clarifies the shortcomings and limitations of the researchThe education system in the new era requires that the shaping of the campus environment needs not only excellent architectural design and planning,but also the creation of a campus environment.The innovation of this paper is to probe into the campus research from the perspective of campus cultural landscape.Based on the theory of environmental behavior,with the starting point of "environmental education",the paper analyzes the importance of good campus environment for educating people,to create a vibrant campus scene.By using systematic research methods and combining with the theory of "The Image of the City" proposed by Kevin Lynch,the paper presents the hierarchic survey and research on the various factors of campus cultural landscape,to form a campus cultural landscape system and propose the strategies of transformation and improvement.
