Education conception and teaching system are constantly updated and changed with the progress of science and technology,and the teaching space of schools is getting more and more attention.As an important part of school building space,teaching unit is the main place for teachers and students to communicate with each other.Therefore,the study of Middle school teaching unit space has a positive effect on the healthy growth of the students.In this paper,starting from various questions encountered in the design work,taking the middle school campus as the research scope,and starting from the change of education philosophy to promote the change of teaching mode,new requirements are put forward for the school's teaching architecture,and the necessity of reasonable design of teaching unit space is expounded.Secondly,by combing the development process of domestic modern education system and teaching space,we can refer to the situation of middle schools in the United States,Britain and Japan,which use multi-purpose space to carry out various teaching activities,which is more conducive to the individual development of students.In view of the current status of Chinese middle schools,there are many uncertainties in students' development and division direction,and the function of classroom is mostly relatively single.With the development of The times and the requirement of comprehensively improving the quality of education,this paper analyzes and summarizes the domestic and foreign teaching modes and the use of teaching unit space,and then puts forward the design strategy of teaching unit space that is more suitable for education and talent cultivation in Chinese middle schools.Finally,based on the starting from the constituent elements of contemporary teaching unit space,combined with in Xiamen Shuangshi Middle School(Fanghu school district),problems encountered in design,we create a more humane and flexible teaching unit space,make it not only meet the use function of the teachers and students,also strives to satisfy diverse demands of teaching evolution in the future.
