The Differentiation Laws Of Courtyard Under The View Of Landscape Gene

As a semi-open space,courtyard has the particularity of space transition.It can more centrally reflect the interaction between people and places and people’s perception of the space they belong to.After a long historical evolution,the traditional courtyard has been carrying on the self-adaptive improvement and inheritance.It has the functions of bearing regional characteristics,building local community identity and transmitting cultural customs.It is an important carrier reflecting regional human-land relationship and highlighting regional cultural individuality.At present,courtyards in traditional settlements take on different forms and coexist with the old and the new.Based on the theory of landscape gene,a field survey of some traditional villages distributed in Hunan Xiangjiang River Basin shows that with the passage of time and space transformation,there is a formal regularity in the change of the spatial form of courtyards.The courtyards of different villages in the upper,middle and lower reaches of the Xiangjiang River were observed and analyzed one by one.The traditional courtyard types and spatial distribution characteristics were sorted out,and the spatial distribution map of courtyard landscape was drawn.The evolution of courtyards in Ming,Qing and modern times is summarized and sorted out,and the evolution map of courtyard landscape is drawn.The space-time map of the courtyard is overlapped to summarize the law of space-time differentiation of the courtyard.Based on this rule,three prototypes of courtyards in Xiangjiang River Basin are found.On this basis,combined with the dominant and recessive gene theory,we retrospect the regional historical context from the space-time differentiation of the courtyard space,and explore the cultural implications hidden behind the courtyard space.The space-time differentiation of courtyard implies the change of humanistic connotation behind it.It is preliminarily believed that the spatial and temporal differentiation of courtyard is basically a process of loss of dominant genes and partial variation of recessive genes in courtyard,i.e.gradual abandonment of dominant genes in courtyard geometric plane such as square enclosure and axisymmetry.The recessive genes of courtyard culture such as geomantic omen,religion and ethics are more hereditary and permanent,but there are some variations in the spatial form of courtyard.Through the analysis of the evolution and differentiation process of various types of courtyard genes,the genetic and variation sequence of courtyard landscape genes,sorting out the dominant gene and recessive influence mechanism of courtyard shape.Based on the above results,the genetic model of courtyard landscape in Xiangjiang River Basin is proposed,and reliable basis and scheme are provided for the inheritance of courtyard culture in this area...
