Industrial park development companies originate from the growth of development zones in China and have been growing fast ever since.Their revenues primarily come from developing properties for the industrial parks.In the 21st century,with the acceleration of economic globalization,all kinds of industrial parks are developing rapidly.Goods,technologies,information,service,and capital are circulating fast over the world.And it becomes harder for companies to make a profit and expand their shares in the market solely by taking the advantage of the resource endowment.The competition among companies now focuses more on human resources.How to stimulate employees'enthusiasm deeply affect the long-term growth of companies.Therefore,performance management is an important part in modern corporate governance.The sustainable growth of industrial park development companies requires an efficient and rational performance management system,which helps the company to work more smoothly,to increase the efficiency of performance management,to stimulate the enthusiasm of employees,and to improve the employees'creativity,such that the companies will be more than to meet their operating goals and improve profitability.This paper analyzes the theories and methods of performance management in China and around the world and studies the case of an industrial park development company named Company Z.Also,the paper researches the background and current situation of company Z,its performance management mode and the related problems.We then propose an improved scheme for performance management,rebuild a performance management system,and focus on the whole process management of performance rather than on the assessment itself.The findings and conclusions in this paper provide the theoretical basis and operation schemes for Company Z,and serve as a good reference of performance assessment for companies in the same industry.
