Reviewing the development of China's automobile industry during the 12th Five-Year Plan period,China's automobile industry has reached the new milestone of 20 million unit of sales volume,while with the end of the stimulus policy,the increase of car ownership in the market,the competition pressure between automobile manufacturers is increasing.Looking at launching new products and new models every year in the market,the major car companies have begun to compete for market share and sales volume with price war,but business operations and new product development costs are high,there has been a vicious cycle of the cycle of the new models introduction in market with negative contribution margin.How to accelerate and shorten the development cycle of new car models,to reduce development costs are the important management tools to survive and develop in the market and the magic weapon to enhance the ability to innovate for the automobile enterprises.This thesis is based on the J product development process of H Automotive company,in-depth studying on the current status of J product development process of H Automotive company and problems such as not good enough development process milestone setting,not strict milestone review,low importance of CAE virtual analysis in the product development process,and low efficiency of work and communication of functional organization structure which are resulting in high development costs,the delayed development timing,many product quality problems and no timely and effective solution to such issues.In the business process improvement design,to adjust the the project milestones to be of target/performance validation which will ensure more attention on the target/performance in project.In the work flow improvement design,each cycle implementation of the "data to the simulation analysis(or hardware validation)to the acceptance milestone" which will make the steps of the design and development phase more clearly;to strengthen the importance of CAE validation work in the early phase which will guide related departments to enhance the virtual validation capability in the early stage resulting of more fully reasonable and scientific design validation.Combined with modern project management theory,to shift the functional organization structure to the matrix-type organization structure which will optimize the existing J product development process of H Automotive company,and achieve the better project targets,as well as enterprise development goals and company strategy.In this thesis,the J product development process of H Automotive company is improved by study,which is subjected to PDCA cycle management theory and followed by the theory of life cycle and concurrent engineering theories.The improvement design of the J product development process of H Automotive company in aiming of improving H company's new product development process optimization and project management level has certain practical reference significance.Meanwhile,the process,method and practical experience proposed in this thesis provide some help and reference to other auto enterprises,especially domestic stated owned auto enterprises.
