Historical streets can completely present the history of the city,because of its geographical and cultural values,are the important part of the city.But for the historical district streets,the original construction was to meet the need of pedestrian and carriage,but now the road has been squeezed of an increasing number of motor vehicles,theslow system function has gradually disappeared.The current traffic-oriented traffic of the street system not consider the feeling of pedestrian and ignore the activitiy space,affecting the feeling of pedestrians on the historical streets.Therefore,the purpose of this study is to restore the slow-traffic system in the historical district,analyzing the problems of slow-traffic in the urban historical district,and put forward a targeted strategy to establish a safe,convenient,comfortable and diverse slow traffic system in the historical district.Relieve the vehicle traffic pressure,activate the district vitality,attracting people to "slow down" when they experience the historical district.This paper has six parts:The first part introduce the background and significance of the study of historical blocks,establishes the purpose and method of research,and carding the main contents and framework of this research.The second part introduced basic theory researches,summarizes the relevant definition and theoretical basis of the urban historic slow-traffic system,from the theory and practice,summed up the relevant research and typical cases at home and abroad,and obtain inspiration after learning.The third part has analysed the influencing factors of the slow moving system in the historical district,the change of the urban texture and the road in the historical development of the urban development process,the historical cause of the slow traffic system in the historical district,and the analysis of the specific problems of the slow traffic environment in the historical district.The fourth part is the design principles of the environment and the optimization measures,based on the problems proposed by the slow-traffic system in the historical district and the positioning of the neighborhood,the planning and planning guidelines should be formulated.The fifth part taken the German concession district as an example,to carry out the practice study of the slow traffic in the historical district,and obtain the data and evaluation of the slow travel through the sample survey and the field observation method.Through the preliminary statistics and observation of the data,we try to find the potential regularity of the results,study the evaluation index of the slow traffic system in the historical district,and analyze the specific problems of the neighborhood travel,so as to put forward the guiding plan.The sixth part presented the main conclusions of this study and puts forward the prospect of the slow-traffic system in the historical district.In short,this paper aimed to solve the urban construction problems by studying the slow traffic system in the historical district,and meet the needs of the public travel,and put forward specific methods and strategies for the slow trafic in the historical district,providing reference for the construction of the slow moving system in the historical district.
