XLPE power cables are increasingly being used in the transmission and distribution lines,which has become the main body of urban network.The water tree aging has been the main insulation hazards of XLPE power cable which affects the safety and stabilization of the line.In order to guarantee the normal run of XLPE power cable,it is necessary to develop a set of insulating state testing equipment to diagnose its insulating state.and the equipment has the advantages of simple operation and short time testing.In the practical application of engineering,the testing equipment of loss current harmonic component which our research group developed has been proved to be an effected device.Due to above reasons.it is necessary to develop a set of testing equipment which has the advantage of easy operation and less testing time.To greatly simplify the operation of the equipment,basing on the research has proposed by our research group using the method of controllable compensation current to achieve the balance of current comparator firstly proposed,a loss factor and loss current harmonic component of automatic test equipment is developed in this article.After developing above design program,according to the principle of test equipment,the software part of the equipment is compiled.In this paper,according to the function of the software,the entire program is divided into three parts:electric bridge balance program,loss current test program,word report generation process.These programs are edited by LabVIEW software platform.After the software is compiled,Software and hardware structures the test equipment.Finally,the related parameters of the core components in the test equipment are corrected through the experiments,the various corrections of test equipment are done by taking different experimental methods.And the validation experiments of test equipment is done.The Confirmatory tests confirm that the design of the test equipment is feasible.Nevertheless,the test equipment still needs to be further revised and improved.
