Impulse current exists in nature,also exists in human production and life.With the development of pulse power technology in power electronics,the accurate measurement of impulse current is more and more important.In order to obtain the specific parameters of impulse current,researchers have developed impulse current measuring devices with different performance according to different requirements.How to accurately obtain the performance index of impulse current measuring device is the focus of this paper.In this paper,the performance test and calibration method of impulse current measuring device are studied.According to the requirements of the standard impulse current sensor used in the calibration of impulse current measuring device,the working principle and performance index of two standard current sensors,namely shunt and Pearson current sensor,are analyzed.Combined with the performance of the impulse current measuring device,the frequency domain and time domain testing methods are proposed,and the specific impulse current measuring device Pearson101 current sensor,Pearson2877 current sensor,self-made iron core coil current sensor A50 different parameter indexes are tested.The main method used for frequency domain testing is constant current sine wave frequency scanning method,and the method used for time domain testing is programmed step current method.On the basis of obtaining the main parameters of the impulse current measuring device,the accuracy of the measuring device was calibrated by using the standard shock wave method.The calibration test platform is the 100 k A standard impulse current generator and high-speed acquisition device of the national high voltage measuring station.The test current is the standard 8/20 impulse current and 4/10 impulse current wave.The results show that the relationship between the drop rate and the lower limit frequency,the rise time and the upper limit frequency measured by the program-controlled step current response method and the constant current sine wave frequency scanning method on the same impulse current measuring device is consistent with the theoretical analysis.Based on this,the frequency index and scale factor of the self-made current sensor A50 are obtained.In the calibration experiment of standard impulse current wave,the self-made current sensor A50 was calibrated,and the shunt ISM50,Pearson 1330 and Pearson 101 were calibrated respectively.The calibration results showed that the calibration factor uncertainty of the calibrated current sensor was 8.2×10-3,and the wave-front time uncertainty was1.6×10-2.Uncertainty of half peak time is 1.52×10-2.
