Because of the volatility of wind power,wind power integration into grids can cause additional operating costs of conventional power plants.Especially in the peak period of electricity,this cost will affect the economy of the entire grid operation.At the same time,the application of demand-side response provides the possibility to reduce the volatility cost.This thesis,supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China,and State Grid Corporation of China,discusses the volatility cost of wind power.And in order to reduce the volatility cost of wind power,the demand response based on compensation contracts and demand response based on time-of-use price were studied.Because the generation side and load side are considered simultaneously in the implementation process,it is also referred to as the Interaction between large consumer and generator based on compensation contracts and the Interaction between large consumer and generator based on time-of-use price.The main research contents are shown as follows:1.In the calculation method of volatility cost proposed by the research group in the earlier period,new adjustment costs were added,and specific analysis was made on the volatility cost and adjustment cost.Specifically,for the adjustment of costs,the analysis of coal consumption at different operating points of thermal power plants and the impact of changes in thermal power operating points on the adjustment costs;for volatility cost,the impact of different wind power output curves on fluctuating costs is analyzed to understand the impact of fluctuating costs,to reduce the volatility costs of wind power.2.In order to reduce the volatility cost of wind power,the application of demand-side response in power grids was studied.In response to the incentive demand response,a demand response based on the compensation contract is proposed;for the price-based demand response,a demand response based on time-of-use price is proposed.Considering the similarities and differences between the two demand responses in the source-load interaction application,the two demand responses are analyzed in terms of whether or not there are optimizations in the implementation process,the accuracy of load adjustments,whether there are penalties,and the scope of adaptation.In the following chapters,specific implementation of the two demand response implementation process is described.3.Studying the demand response is to reduce the volatility cost of wind power.Aiming at the problem of how much the load changes,the method of jointly optimizing the modeling of the cost of wind power generators and the compensation cost of compensation to the load is proposed,which overcomes the shortcomings of the traditional demand side in that only the load side participates,and can comprehensively consider the power generation side and the load side.,to achieve the source and load interaction.Considering the thermal balance constraints of thermal power and wind power,the upper and lower limits of output of thermal power units,the upper and lower limits of wind power output,and the constraints of the load on the demand side and the constraints on the upper and lower limits of load changes,the concept of load mobility has been introduced.The load control is in a reasonable range of change;the simulation example shows that this method can reduce the wind power generation company's power generation cost,and at the same time it can also reduce the cost of wind power fluctuations and alleviate the problems brought about by wind power fluctuations to power grid dispatch.4.In response to the demand response based on time-of-use,the issue of how to rationalize electricity prices to reduce the cost of wind power fluctuations was studied.For the formulation of electricity price,firstly,according to the load migration rate,different expected load curves are obtained;then the load change rate is obtained according to the load before and after the change;and then the change of electricity price is calculated based on the electricity price matrix to provide a reference for formulating a reasonable electricity price.For load changes,the concept of load transfer cost was proposed.By comparing the power generation cost and transfer cost that are reduced at the power generation side,it was verified whether the electricity price was reasonable.The simulation results show that this method can provide a reasonable reference for the development of electricity prices.At the same time,it can also reduce the fluctuation cost of wind power and promote the healthy development of wind power.
